Almudhareb holds a bachelor degree in Computer Information systems. He joined Dubai Courts Department as the first employee in the Computer Information Systems Section in 1991, where he graded up to his current position as an IT Director.
Almudhareb was the first in the region, who introduced computers for office work in courts sector. During his tenure, Courts e-business evolved and automation reached 100% by introducing many systems to serve all courts processes.
Furthermore, online services exceeded 450 services, which include the first Online Case Registration in the region, first Public and Private E-Notary in the region, along with subscribed services to Judges, Advocate offices, Case Parties.
Almudhareb introduced the first Smart Apps in Courts Business in the world with complete life cycle and interactive of the processes, which covers more than 230 services. In his capacity as a member of the leadership team, Almudhareb plays a major role in implementing Dubai Courts strategy. He constantly strives to seize the strategic opportunities in achieving the vision of Dubai Courts.

Based in the UK, James leads KPMG’s Global Legal Technology team as part of KPMG International having previously been a Corporate Lawyer working at some of the UK’s largest law firms for most of his professional career.
Prior to his career in law James was a software developer and IT consultant and now works with some of KPMG’s largest technology alliance partners and internal technology teams from across the globe taking ideas from origination to development and on to deployment. James has brought technology solutions to market across multiple jurisdictions through complex risk and compliance regimes.

Suzanna has more than ten years of experience in the legal field, public relations, and marketing. She holds Master’s degree in International Commercial Law (LLM, Hon.) and Second Master’s in Marketing.
General Legal Counsel, Ferrero
Moutaz Abdullat is currently employed at Ferrero GCC as General Legal Counsel. He is looking after Corporate Governance, Food Law, IP, Data Privacy and corporate commercial matters. Prior Joining Ferrero, Moutaz was working at Nestlé Middle East as Regional Legal Counsel covering the regions of Middle East, North of Africa & Maghreb. Moutaz obtained his LL.B degree from Jordan and his Master’s Degree in International Business Law from Paris Sorbonne University.
In addition to his extensive experience in the above-mentioned fields, he is specialized in civil law, criminal law and international business laws. He gained his first experience at Abu Ghazaleh Intellectual Property, the pioneer trademark agency and legal consultancy firm in the region. He was a legal consultant in Jordan, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah and finally appointed as Office Manager in Dubai office managing the legal department. His experience enabled him to train law enforcement authorities including police officers and custom officials on the legal provisions regulating role of public officials.
Moutaz assisted in drafting several laws throughout the region through commenting on a number of laws. Moutaz is setting as a Board Member of the Brand Protection Group. He participated in numerous legal seminars, conferences and events as a moderator or speaker.
Yousif Al Sahlawi

Yousif Hussein Al Sahlawi is a UAE National and Founder of Al Sahlawi & CO Advocates & Consultants (formerly known as Al Sahlawi Group Advocates and Legal Consultants) which was established in Dubai in 1997.
He was the former Public Prosecutor for the Ministry of Justice since 1988 to 1997 and thereafter for a period of ten years held the position of “Executive Director” of Dubai Customs. He is the moving force for the incorporation of the firm and is the Group Head of ASCO Advocates & Consultants.
Yousif Hussein Al Sahlawi is licensed to practice before the national courts of the UAE. His specialisation includes Litigation & Arbitration along with vast experience in handling all customs related legal issues. He also specialises in sports laws besides being a pioneer in legislating and drafting the constitution of the UAE Football Association and related rules and regulations for handling all legal matters and issues concerned with the sports.
